Litchard Ward Candidate – Alan Wathan

I am formally announcing that I will be standing as an Independent candidate in the Litchard ward for both the BCBC and Community councils  in the forthcoming local government elections.

I stand as an Independent candidate to bring change to our community and put people before politics.

I have served on our local community council representing Litchard for a number of years, I now feel that my knowledge and enthusiasm can also be applied to BCBC.

If elected, because I am not beholden to a political party, I will fight to bring about a satisfactory solution to problems that matter to you not because I am instructed to act according to the party line.

I will continue to press issues of importance to our local community and individuals alike.

I firmly believe in fighting for local issues and local people.

I have lived in Litchard area for over 35 years and my career spans eight years in the Royal Navy and 30 years as a Police Officer in the South Wales Police working for many years in the Bridgend area,on retirement from the Police service I worked at Bridgend College.

It’s time for Change For Litchard.
