Steve officially became a Town Councillor today and joins current Mayor Alan Wathan, David Unwin and Tim Wood as your strong INDEPENDENT team for Newcastle on Bridgend Town Council and part of the group of 9 INDEPENDENT councillors who make up the largest grouping on the council.
Upon his election Steve said: “I am humbled and very grateful that 599 local people together with many others (who don’t live in the ward) have supported me in my campaign and passion to stand for election as an #Independent Town Councillor for my #NewcastleWard”.
We were delighted to have the opportunity to support Steve with the legalities and logistics of his campaign. Steve is fiercely independent of political party and has a passion for Bridgend that was recognised by the residents of Newcastle. He will make an excellent Town Councillor.
