It won’t have escaped your notice that local government elections will be held on 4th May.
Most of us are now sick and tired of the administration running BCBC who have run out of ideas and are quickly running out of time.
They take take two things for granted.
Firstly that their loyal supporters will vote for them.
Secondly, they count on the fact that others won’t bother to vote at all.
Apathy is their friend.
Unless we vote for change we will get more of the same. Not because that’s what we want but because we didn’t vote for an alternative.
The councillors that are elected in May will be in post for FIVE years. That’s FIVE more years of mismanagement, arrogance and wasted opportunities unless we vote for change.
It’s surprising how many people are eligible to vote yet can’t because they’re not registered.
This is often the case on new developments when people have recently moved in or maybe if you’ve just turned 18.
It only takes a few minutes to check and register.
It’s also easy and convenient to register for a postal vote. You don’t need a special reason. Postal voting is the most convenient way to vote in our increasingly busy lives.
You can register to vote online by following the link below.
EVERY vote counts in EVERY ward!
Have your say in May.
